I would see your point if this was directed to the people who make websites specifically made to track down and kill people who like twilight (not even kidding). But this is a simple topic. What else are we supposed to do really?

It's not the hating I'm bothered about more than the quite vocal bashing I see often on the internet (indeed I have a couple of friends who do like Twilight but there are either a) teenage girls or b) gay - the rest don't talk about it). Surely there are better things to talk about than how sick you are of something you've probably never watched/read you know? Because it should be taken for granted, if you're a straight teenage male that you hate its guts (not debating stereotypes here but it's not a wrong assumption to make, no?).

post=107477I'm poor at explaining things so let me try putting this way: I find a straight male seriously liking Twilight as odd as a 32-year old chartered accountant (without kids) watching Teletubbies.
It's really hard to take YM seriously considering the logic behind it.
Yes I did just compare Twilight to Teletubbies but it's the only thing I could think of to regain my lost honour
